I'm Madhurya, an artist based in Bangalore. My journey in art started during my childhood days because I loved being in the creative zone. Growing up, I was a person with different interests and never imagined pursuing art as a career. I graduated in commerce  and tried my chances in the insurance sector for over a year and a couple of years in the civic sector but, I was always found myself connected to art in a way. Initially, it all started as a hobby and, this tiny little hobby grew into a passion. This passion for mandala art soon made me a professional Mandala artist and I decided to take this up as a full-time career in the year 2019. As a keen learner, I persisted in educating myself more on different art forms and enrolled myself at the Indian Institute of World Culture for a foundation in sketching and painting using various mediums, where I was trained by the eminent artist Shri. Sanjay Chapolkar. 

 

As a Mandala artist, I love to work mainly with pens but, my love for brushes is immense. I enjoy blending different mediums like watercolors, acrylics, gouache, oils, and poster paints into mandalas. My work is best known for its vibrant colors and intricate details. I make sure each one of my art pieces is unique and expressive, with an ambiance of both traditional and modern looks. The inspiration for my art comes from the diverse nature of Indian culture, tradition, and my surrounding environment. As a professional, I always look for an opportunity to translate my every experience into an art form. It's no lie to say I live, breathe and dream of art. I focus on upskilling my knowledge in every aspect related to art and my career each day.

 

 "Knowledge once acquired can be applied as many times as possible" - has always been my motto. I have upskilled myself with photography and designing tools like Autodesk Sketchbook, Adobe Photoshop cc, CorelDRAW, and editing tools like Adobe Lightroom, Premiere pro to present my work in the best possible way.
